Lilttle Miss Emma

I couldn't be happier about this shoot! My first baby girl (under a year), and she was so sweet and a great sport. I got to try out a few new props and we got some wonderful photos :) I even got to capture her holding her own bottle for the very first time!

Friends of mine got engaged over Christmas and I was honored to take their engagement photos :) We had a great time in downtown Oak Park and got some adorable photos!

 

The Big Bad Blizzard in Batavia

Last night, my hubby and I went out for a walk around the Batavia Riverwalk. A good majority of it was plowed, but once it got to the boardwalk (which they can't plow) we were literally walking in someone else's footsteps, with our dog hopping from one to another. It was beautiful and quite, and while it got pretty chilly towards the end, it was a nice relaxing walk :)

Cute Critters - Cocoa & Ruger

My brother decided to go and get a cute little lab puppy, so I took some pictures of what she would sit still for, and got Ruger (our Papillon/Sheltie mix) to sit in as well. So cute :)

Olivia's 5th Birthday @ The Exploration Station

I took Christmas photos for these adorable girls a few months ago, and the Simmons asked me back to take photos at their youngest daughter's 5th birthday party. When they told me it was at The Exploration Station, I couldn't have been more excited! I went there as a kid, and it was a huge wave of nostalgia to walk in, and a lot of fun to see all of the new exhibits they have put in. Olivia and her sister, Avery, were adorable in their fluffy skirts and sparkly shoes! Livi definitely seemed to have a great day and I'm so happy I got to capture it :)
